Adelaide Professional Imaging were kindly commissioned to produce and install the entire window front on Jem Designs.

Jem Designs is a family run business and has been manufacturing swimwear and dancewear in Adelaide , South Australia for over 25 years. Our factory is based at the rear of our retail outlet in Prospect.

We are proud to be able to offer a large range of fabrics, including stretch polyester which withstands the effects of chlorine and chemicals found in pools and spas.

Looking for plus size swimwear? bigger bust sizes? Sun protection wear? Mastecomy styles? maternity swimwear? then Jem is the place for you we have a large range of styles available in store.

As well as stocking Jem our own South Australian made brand we also stock Seafolly, Speedo, Rival, Eyeline, Zoggs, Poolproof, Genevieve, Wahine, Fiesta and J. Bloch.

For all the personal shoppers out there Jem Designs offers a made to order service, this means you can choose one of our garments and have it made in your own choice of colour, leg cut, cups, etc. We also offer a made to measure service for the more difficult to fit shapes and sizes. The bather is then custom made to fit you, again with your own personal choices.

Cine Film Transfers to DVD

API converts from 8/9.5/16mm movie reels to most different format video cassettes and DVD Disc’s. API can also convert your slide film to a video slide show. This is done by scanning slides, retouching and colour correcting, then back to tape through use of our digital video editing suite.

At Adelaide Professional Imaging we have established a national reputation for transferring video tapes and films to DVD. Our state-of-the-art laboratory in Adelaide is equipped to handle almost any size film in any format.

We offer a national wide mail order service where you simply mail your films and videos to Adelaide Professional Imaging and they will send you your original films / videos and your DVD via Australia Post or your chosen courier.

We can convert your videos and provide them for you on a DVD or a format for you to edit on your own computer. The formats we convert include:

We can convert your videos and provide them for you on a DVD or a format for you to edit on your own computer.

Standards conversion

API also convert video that has come from overseas. One big foreign format is the North American NTSC, this can easily be converted by API and usually by same day service.

Duplication

API duplicates from any single tape into a wide range of video mediums. API also offers full colour labelling for video cassettes. All duplication is done either same day or a couple of days depending on quantity and workload.

Editing

API has the ability, know how, equipment and operators to tackle any video job. We offer real-time editing, professional looking titling and credits, background sound, still image importing, a huge array of special effects and super-imposing to say the least. We normally get the clients original tapes in first, this gives us time to pre-load all the required materials into our systems and then simply arrange an appointment for the editing to commence. Editing is charged by the hour so you know what your paying.

Output

API has the ability to supply you with a wide range of digital video formats such as QuickTime, AVI, MPG or DV streams from all analogue and digital video tapes. These files can then be saved to CD’s (for easy share ability, and cheap copying), DVD’s (larger files) or straight to your hard drive (external firewire preferred, but can work from internal).

We run all video tapes through timebase correcting machines as to get the best possible conversion for you. We run digital and analogue TBC’s because every tape is different. Some of our clients bring in damaged or broken tapes, we do offer a re-splicing and re-casing service. We work with tapes from other countries to, so if its a standards conversion you require that’s not a problem.

Repair of cracks and scratches.

Below is a sample of a simple digital restoration of a photo with cracks and minor scratches. Before and After shots are provided.

All restorations supplied on CD-Rom.

We do not damage any original photos, we run high resolution scans of originals and work on the electronic copies. All restorations are provided on CD-ROM in JPEG format. We can also supply low resolution files for quick email transfer.
